MIRACLES

Hello!!!!
We are running really low on time...again haha! So I'm just gonna share a really amazing miracle contact we had last night. We had about 15 minutes left of the night, and so we decided to stop by a less active member we haven't met in our apartment complex. Turns out she doesn't live there anymore, but we met a stellar guy named Dakota! We taught him the message of the restoration and a little bit about faith, repentance, baptism, and the Holy Ghost. We had him read 3 Nephi 27:19-21 and afterwards he paused then said, "I finally realize what I'm missing. I haven't ever been baptized." WHAAAAAAAAA?! That's the BEST answer ever! 😃 we testified of the blessings from baptism and then of course invited him to be baptized. He said yes! Boom! Coolest most amazing contact/new investigator ever! :) man....missionary work is the best!

Things are great in Ohio. Hope they are wherever you're at! Love you all so much! Don't forget to read from the Book of Mormon and to pray! They bless your life more than anything because they bring your closer to Christ.

Love you all!!! 💞

Alive and well in the Cliff

Hello, people I love!

No, I am not being apostate writing this email after 6 pm. ;) we got permission from President Stratford to do a service activity from 9-2 which is a huge chunk of p day...so he then just told us to take all day for p day haha!

Okay, now a quick update because we still have stuff planned tonight. I got transferred from Zanesville! It was sad saying by to my mission baby, Sister Hansen, but I know she's gonna be amazing. It was also waay hard saying bye to the ward members and both recent converts, Shelby and Jane. ❤ so much love for them!! I got transferred to Marble Cliff with an awesome sister. Her name is Sister Hicks and she smiles more than just about anyone I've ever met. 😊 Marble Cliff is a super great area for many reasons. One, we have the temple! And it's right next to our church building, so we see it several times a week 😃 also, Sister Hicks and I are in an area where we are lucky enough to go on exchanges with each of the sisters in the zone...twice a transfer! Which means we won't be companions very often, but we get to learn from each of the sisters and get to know them really well! I am PUMPED! (And also feeling a little/a lot inadequate haha)

It is going to be an amazing transfer! So excited! 😊 it is amazing seeing the hand of the Lord in the work...and feeling him lift you at all times. I have gained such a strong testimony of the Savior and His love, and of Heavenly Father's love while serving. They are amazing and have blessed each of us in so many ways.  🌷🌼

Thank you all so so much for all the birthday wishes! Sorry if I don't email you all back :( know how grateful I am for each and every one of you! Thanks for sending your love, and know how loved you are. 😊

Love,
Sister Morris

All is well...

It was a fantastic week! I have very little time left...sorry!

Our new investigators mentioned last week are both doing amazing and loving the gospel. :)

I'm super sad because it's transfer week and most likely will be leaving Zanesville :( gonna miss Jane, Shelby and everyone so much!

Sister Hansen is doing amazing and seems like she's been out a year even though she's just finishing with 12 weeks :)

Life is wonderful and we are so happy. :) plus it's finally getting warmer! 😁

Love you all tons! The gospel of Jesus Christ brings so much happiness!

Have a wonderful week!

Love,
Sister Morris

We are so blessed...

Wow, what a week!

First of all, general conference was absolutely amazing. We are so incredibly blessed to have a prophet to receive direction from our Heavenly Father. I sustain and love President Nelson and I know that he has been called by God. You've probably heard this from every other missionary already, but if you haven't watched conference yet, go watch it now!

God is so good. Loma was super excited to watch conference, but she discovered that she didn't have byutv on her channels. She decided to call the cable company to see how much it would cost her. As she was talking to the person on the phone, her eyes got really wide and I thought to myself, "oh no...its expensive." And then she smiled and said excitedly, "yes! Yes! Let's get it!" Not only was it inexpensive, it actually somehow made her cable bill CHEAPER to have BYU tv! Haha God is so good, people! We definitely learned a lesson: doubt not, but be believing. (Mormon 9:27)

Heavenly Father guided us to two of the most golden investigators this week! The first we found on Friday while on the way to an appointment. There was a group of guys outside talking and we felt like we needed to talk to them. None of them seemed interested at all, but we testified how the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the exact church that Christ established and co trained the exact gospel that he taught that would guide us to heaven. Still none of them were interested so we gave them our card, asked for a referral and went to our appointment. About an hour and a half later we got a text from one of them saying that he actually was interested and if we could teach him more!! We have had contact with him daily through Facebook or texting and have a lesson with him Saturday. :) Talk with everyone and testify of Christ!!

Our other new investigators story starts about 6 months ago. Back in October Sister Hardy and I were tracting in a tiny town called Frazeysburg. We walked past a guy talking on the phone but felt like we needed to go back and talk to him. He told us that he didn't live at the house, but was a realtor trying to sell it. Okay, fast forward to Sunday night. We were super pumped because of conference, but that's besides the point haha! We walked past this house again and it was inhabited!! We felt like knocking since we'd not met these people. A woman answered and let us right in. We taught her the entire first discussion and she is so interested! We had a second lesson with her yesterday, and she had started reading the Book of Mormon and was so excited about it. She believes everything we have taught, and told us how much she loves it all because of how happy it is. :) that is exactly what the Savior and His teachings are!! H A P P I N E S S! 😊

Oh, we also were tracting during a tornado warning for a bit last night haha! Good times :)

The gospel is the best and we are so blessed! Love you all!! Have a happy week, and please please watch conference! Also please read the Book of Mormon! You will never regret it. In the words of our new investigator, "why would you not want that happiness in your life?"

Be happy 😊

Love,
Sister Morris
