WOW!

🌻WOW🌻
That is what I have to say about this week. In all honesty when I first saw that I was being transferred back to Dublim I was filled with fear and thought, "no no no no please no!" 😂 however, I quickly was comforted by the Spirit and knew that this is exactly where I need to be...for so many reasons. I decided to have the faith that miracles can happen in Dublin just as they do in any other area. Friends. FAITH PRODUCES MIRACLES! My new companion, Sister Riggs, may be a brand new missionary but she has some of the greatest faith that I have ever seen in a missionary. She is amazing. We have really gone out of our comfort zones to talk with everyone that we see and through this God has led us to two families that we are now teaching! We also found a super awesome lady named Heather. Her sister is a member of the Church and she is pretty interested in learning. We had our first lesson with her yesterday and she is so excited to come to church with us. All of this is happening in Dublin! This area will no longer have the title of being a "hard area". Lol...every area you serve im is hard for different reasons. We know that there are people searching for the happiness that only the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring. We are so excited to see the miracles that come from this transfer. 😀

Also, Sister Rolfson is now my sister training leader and we were able to go on am exchange yesterday! It was so much fun serving with her again. She is such a wonderful person. 💜

Thank you all for your prayers. They are definitely being answered. Love you all!

#Throwback

Oh my goodness what a week!!
Sister Cox and I are flat outa miles so we have had to bike a lot. A lot. 😂 my legs are no longer legs...just jello haha! But the Lord seriously helps us when we ask for it. The other night we were about 25 minutes away from our apartment and only had 20 minutes before curfew, and i am not fast. It was getting dark and Sister Cox is so stinking fast. I kid you not when i say that i prayed the entire bike ride home. We did it in 15 minutes! It was insane! Haha but God answers prayers. :)

This transfer was so amazing. We experienced so many miracles and Sister Cox has become one of my best friends. Man ill tell ya, missions are thr BEST. 😊 we got transfer news! Im going back to my very first area, Dublin!! And i am blessed with the opportunity to train again! 😁 these last two transfers are going to be so amazing.

Because we have been biking so much we have been so tired lately. There is a promise given in the Doctrine and Covenants that says,

12 And at all times, and in all places, he shall open his mouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give unto him strength such as is not known among men.

This is the most true promise. It is absolutelt insane how much energy we have received just from opening our mouths with everyone...no mattee how awkward it is at times. If you are feeling super exhauted, just talk with someone about the gospel! I promise you that youll be given strength that is seriously not known among men. I can promise you that because i have felt it nearly everyday the past 15 months. :)

I hooe you all have a great week!

Much love,
Sister Morris

The little red head girl is Andy and Debbies granddaughter, Elizabeth also my best friend 😊

Hello all!

Hello hello!!
P day is on Tuesday again because we have zone conference tomorrow haha! This was another blessed week. So do you remember reading about Maria a couple of weeks ago? Well, she disappeared for about a week. We couldn't contact her through text, phone call, or ever catch her home. We were so worried because she had been doing great and then she just dropped off the earth. After much prayer and diligence in trying to contact her, we decided to stop by one last time on Saturday... She was home! 😀 She saw us and immediately lit up. Turns out she had just been working a ton and had tried texting and calling us but it wasn't working for some reason...we think she may have accidentally blocked our number 😂 she came to church again on Sunday and is doing very well. We learned an important lesson of not getting discouraged. "Choose faith over discouragement"

We got to hangout with the Statford's dog, Buscuit and it was super fun. :)

This is the last full week of the transfer which is so crazy. Time is flying by. It will be interesting to see if Sister Cox and I get split up, because I'll most likely die in my next area. Crazy crazy stuff.

I hope you all have a fantastic week! Good luck to everyone who is starting school 😄

Love,
Sister Morris

Hello!

Hey, everyone!
We went to the temple today and spent many many hours there. It was so nice! The temple is the best place on earth. ❤️

Highlight of the week: we went to the temple with Andy and Debbie! Andy, a man who you'd never expect to get emotional, was in tears as he heard his grandmother's name during the confirmation prayer. He sent us a bunch of messages that night just saying thank you over and over. Then on Sunday he bore his testimony of family history and the temple and got emotional again! True conversion. It is the greatest blessing seeing an individuals life turn completely around, and to see them experience the atonement of Jesus Christ.

Another incredible miracle! 14 months ago when my MTC group flew to Ohio, we met a super awesome man named Dennis in the Salt Lake City Airport. He talked with us for quite some time and we were able to teach him a little bit. He had Mormon colleagues and told us he was a "dry Mormon" and couldn't wait to get home and meet with the missionaries. He gave us each a piece of paper with his contact info so that we could reach out and potentially get a job when we got home haha! Anyways, a few months ago I found that paper and had a prompting to find him on Facebook. I did so and messaged him, but he never responded. Fast forward a few months to Monday, I woke up and saw that he had commented on my Facebook page! I looked at it and it made my entire day. He said,
"Holy stars, did we meet in the Salt Lake City Utah @ the airport in June when you were leaving MTC? We have so much to talk about. I just got presidential approval for my endowment on my birthday August 11. As I was baptized on August 19, 2017. I've been praying that I would connect with you guys as you all have major influences me being baptized. Now I'm a Ward missionary,"

Is that not the greatest?! MIRACLES HAPPEN!! 😊 It was so sweet to see how far his testimony has taken him. Ahh the gospel is so good, folks! Always share it with people!

Anyways, the mission is great and I can't believe how fast my last two transfers are coming up. I have cherished every moment (almost 😉) of my time here in Ohio! Have a fantastic week, everyone!

Love,
Sister Morris

PS
Sorry Sister Cox and I are awful at taking pictures... This is the only one from this week 😂

LIfe is good!

Hello!
I don't have much to say from this past week, but it was super great! Serving a mission is still the best thing ever. 😊 Here are some great verses of scripture! Thanks everyone for your love and support! Love you all!

Doctrine and Covenants 18:10
10 Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God;

Alma 26:12
12 Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.

John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Joshua 1:9
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

We are so blessed to have so much scripture to testify of our Savior. I know He lives and I am so grateful for Him. ❤️ I invite you all to take some time the next 4 days to prayerfully prepare for the sacrament. I promise it will be a very meaningful time as you do so. Have a happy week!

Love,
