Wowza!

Wow this week was incredible!!

Yesterday we had exchanges with the Hilliard sisters and we experienced one of the greatest miracles of my whole mission. Sister Sessions and I were on bikes all day (which is the best because it increases the number of people we are able to talk to by a lot:)) and we met the most prepared woman ever! She was sitting on the stairs in front of her apartment door looking down. She looked up when we said hi and looked so in shock. We started talking with her and she opened up a lot. She told us how badly she just wants to be happy. We taught her a little bit about the atonement of Jesus Christ and how He can bring us the most joy. By the end of the contact she was crying tears of joy and was so excited to learn more. Later that night she came to the relief Society activity with us and explained that she had been praying this morning just about ready to give up on everything and then she looked up and we were there. Haha she said, "it was like you just fell from the sky!!" she is so awesome and immediately recognized God's hand in what had happened. We were then able to teach her about how we lived with God before coming to this life and how badly He wants each of us to be happy and to eventually return to live with Him again. She then pretty much quoted King Lamoni and said, "I want to give Christ my all... I will do anything for Him." she asked when we have church services and said she was would rather quit her job than not be able to come to church!!! She said, "this is worth way more than anything money could buy." SHE IS SO RIGHT!! 😊 She is planning on being baptized June 30 :) it was so amazing being a part of God's work... Being where He needed us so this woman could know how dearly He loves her. I know God loves us and will answer our prayers. I also know that as long as we are willing to act on spiritual prompting, He can use us to help someone else. :)

The other day during lunch Sister Hicks and I were trying to find a video that explains what we do as missionaries to send to an investigator who was asking, and we came across one that very inaccurately depicted it. Lol they had a pristine apartment, fancy salt shakers, and gourmet looking dinner that they had cooked. Real mission life is Sister Hicks and Sister Morris eating salad with steakknives off of a paper plate because we are all out of everything else. 😂

Life is good in the great Ohio!! Heavenly Father never ceases to amaze me 😊 have a beautiful week!! Love you all!

Also, we taught the restoration to two guys while we almost beat them (divine help haha) in a game of PIG. :) it was awesome! You would have been proud, dad 😂
Love,
Sister Morris 🌞
