First, ANDY IS GETTING BAPTIZED ON FRIDAY!! 👏😀 We are so excited for him and he is even more excited! We had a lesson about temples and eternal families a few days ago with him and Debbie (Debbie is scheduled to be baptized next weekend:)) and Debbie was smiling the entire time. I mean, eternal families is a pretty stinking happy blessing that God has made available to us through the restoration of Jesus Christ's gospel. :) they both have been getting a lot of opposition from family and friends and they keep saying, "I don't care what anyone thinks. I've never cared before so why should I care now?" I hope we can all develop that kind of attitude about our faith and standards. :) we are super super excited for his baptism. Hopefully he will be able to baptize Debbie next weekend.
Other cool thing is that I was invited to participate in a small choir of missionaries to sing the national anthem at a Clippers baseball game! Sister Hicks and I were able to go and it was awesome. :) we were even allowed to stay until 8 watching the game so that people could see us and maybe ask questions...unfortunately our seats happened to be by some members 😂 what are the odds? It was fun even though I had no idea what was going on. A League of Their Own is way more exciting to watch than a real baseball game 😉
Life is so great. Heavenly Father loves us all so much it is crazy! :) I hope you all can feel His love everyday!
