The why of missionary work...

Wel...we are officially merged with the Cleveland mission and have lost one of our zones. :( my dear friend Sister Johnson is one of the few who are now part of the Cincinnati mission. Although it is hard seeing those missionaries and friends leave, it is very comforting knowing that everyone is exactly where Heavenly Father needs them to be! We had MLC (mission leadership council) yesterday and were able to meet all the zone leaders and sister training leaders from up north. They're awesome! We are super excited to get to know all of their missionaries better and to serve in the more northern parts of Ohio. :)

Great news. Andy was baptized on Friday and confirmed on Sunday! :) his life has completely turned around. He and Debbie (who is going to be baptized this Saturday) absolutely love the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are the why of missionary work. God has asked us to share the gospel because it changes lives. Faith in Jesus Christ and following his example brings more lasting happiness than anything else. :) I'm so grateful for the missionaries who taught and baptized my great great great grandparents over in Europe. I'm so grateful for the missionaries who taught and baptized my mom! Without the gospel and people willing to sacrifice in order to share it, my family would not be an eternal family. I'm so grateful for God's command to share this happy happy news.

Hope you all have a great week! Lots of love from Ohio 😊

Love,
Sister Morris
